hammer time

So the Gulf Coast team is finally back on the road doing screenings and keeping ourselves busy...and boy does it feel good. For those of you who don't know we were out of commission for about a week due to hurricanes Gustav and Ike, but we are now back and running full force. During our week of taking refuge from the winds, water, and back to back to back to back to back cancellations, we had the privilege of being housed by two very special people, Ms. Ann and Mr. Perrin Watkins (some of you may know them as Desiree and Wallis' mom and dad). Not only did they take us into their home for a week, we were never short on food or love. We would not have made it through this rough patch without their encouragement and help. We now know that whenever we're in the Baton Rouge area who we can turn to. They truly did make us feel like we were at home. Our deepest thanks go out to them and we can never repay them for how they helped our team start this tour. This blog post goes out to them and their generosity. We love you, Ms. Ann and Mr. Perrin and we'll miss you on the rest of our journey, keep in touch!

Love,
Gulf Coast (Nick "Mad Dog" Stenson, Cory "the leprechaun" Briscoe , Jenni "Princess Dianne" Goguen, and Nat-attack)

p.s.
Thanks to all of our new friends in the Baton Rouge/LSU area, you know who you are.

I thought you would make it across but I guess not so nimble Cory. How do plan to escape with your pot of gold then?
